I want to know how to evaluate the design of a 60Co exposure room for industrial use. I also need to know the calculation for shielding to provide safe operation of the facility and minimum exposure to radiation workers.

The information you need is in the ANSI/HPS N43.3-2008 Standard, "Radiation Safety for Installations Using Non-Medical X-Ray and Sealed Gamma-Ray Sources, Energies up to 10 MeV."
